Full Sensored Mode

The first 4-Pole motor with a built-in chip hwich helps ESCidentify it’s a Hobbywing motor (only when pairing with the Xerun XR8series ESCs) and the XR8 ESC create a power system which is able to workin the “sensored” mode (at all times) and provide users with the betterperformance and smoother control.

Note! Motors are fully compatible with other brand ESCs also but unable to work in the “sensored” mode at all times.

Turbo Timing Technology

The Turbo Timing which is widely used (by 2-pole motors) in 1:10scale on-road racing can be enabled to unleash the utmost power of themotor when pairing with the Xerun XR8 series escs.

Bi-Directional adjustable Timing

The mechanical timing which is adjustable from 20 deg to 40 deg(30 deg default) meets different power demands of various applications.

Advanced Hall Sensing System

The Hobbywing patended “error-free” Hall sensing system adoptedby the motor guarantees users the steady operation in the “sensored”mode. A separate high-speed high precision encoder always outputs theclean signals (indicate the position of the rotor) and protects the Hallsensing system from other signal interference.

Low Cogging Torque

The Hobbywing patented 4-pole-8-Magnet “staggered pole” rotorwith the extremely low cogging effect and torque pulsation greatlyimproves the driving feel around corners.

Quality Materials & Excellent Design

The use of double insulated winding (200 C-deg  R-leveled)Japanese NMB bearings super thin silicon steel sheet and thehigh-intensity adhesive (300c deg) guarantees users the outstandingperformance and great durability. With the strength of the motor isguaranteed the wheel hub design adopted by front&rear end belseffectively reduces the motor weight.

Turbine Design

The Turbine design adopted by the rotor actively acceleratesinternal air circulation, reduces heat and keeps the motor temperaturestay at a low level.
